4 Days LAKE NAKURU AND MAASAI MARA SAFARI

Lake Nakuru National Park

Dubbed ‘the greatest bird spectacle on earth’ due to the millions of Fuchsia-pink flamingo that flock to feed on the teeming algae of its alkaline waters, Lake Nakuru is also an ornithologist’s paradise, a UNESCO World Heritage site as well as a RAMSAR site, a uniquely rewarding game-viewing venue and a sanctuary for both the black and white Rhino.

Day 1:

Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

  •  08h00: this morning depart from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National park arriving mid-morning and proceed to the lodge on a game drive. 
  • Check in and then you will have lunch.
  • You will proceed on the afternoon game drives in the park

Maasai Mara

This is Kenya’s Jewel and never disappoints in terms of wildlife encounters. Lions, Cheetah, Elephants and thousands of other plains animals abound throughout the year. In the months of mid-July to November, the migration of the wildebeest plays out in the open plains – a spectacle not to be missed. 

Day 2: 

Lake Nakuru National Park to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

  • This day you will have early breakfast
  • Then at 07h30 you will depart for a 4-5 hour drive along the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara game reserve. 
  • Arrive for lunch at the Lodge. 
  • After lunch you will proceed to the park for wildlife viewing later returning to the lodge.

Day 3:

Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Breakfast at the lodge. 

  • This day you can go on the 3 hours each morning and afternoon game viewing drives.
  • You may also choose to go on a full day game drive with picnic lunch

Day 4:

Maasai Mara Game Reserve to Nairobi onto departure  

  • Early morning game viewing drive retuning to the lodge for breakfast.
  • After breakfast you will depart on a leisurely drive to Nairobi arriving late afternoon and we transfer you to the Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta international airport where you will connect your departure flight home.
